The Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) basketball crushed the host Stark Generals (Weare, NH), 72-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The The Pride (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Hollis-Brookline (Hollis, NH). The Cavaliers go into the Division II test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Hollis-Brookline was trounced by Milford (Milford, NH), 62-40, in a league test.
The Generals now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Laconia for a Division II test on Thursday, January 12. Stark will encounter a Sachems squad coming off a 69-39 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, NH). The Sachems record now stands at 4-0.
