Virginia High School Basketball - Middlesex routs West Point

In Tuesday's league outing, the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), by a count of 68-29.

The Chargers (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Nandua (Onley, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Nandua smashed Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD), 66-33, in a non-league outing.

The Pointers now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Charles City for a Tidewater outing on Friday, January 13. West Point will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 67-58 league win over King William (King William, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
