Georgia High School Basketball - Mitchell County fells Seminole County

January 10, 2023: Camilla, GA 31730

Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA), 67-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Mitchell County upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Eagles host Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Randolph-Clay won 73-37 in their recent league bout against Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA)

Next up, the Indians play the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA) in a A D2 Region 1A bout, on Friday, January 13. Seminole County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 50-37 league loss to Early County (Blakely, GA).
