Iowa High School Basketball - Pathway Christian nips Morning Star Academy

Pathway Christian (Kalona, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Morning Star Academy Mustangs (Bettendorf, IA), 54-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pathway Christian upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The host Faith Christian (Dixon, IL) to play the Falcons in a Northern Illinois Christian bout on Friday, January 20. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 12-1.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Unity Christian Knights (Fulton, IL) in a Northern Illinois Christian bout, on Friday, January 13. Morning Star Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 75-41 league loss to Faith Christian (Dixon, IL).
