The NC GBB Academy National Eagles (Durham, NC) basketball felled the host Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC), 78-64 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Fighting Pharaohs go into the non-league test with a 15-6 record.
The Mighty Warriors now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Raleigh Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Mount Zion Christian Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 67-61 non-league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-16.
