Nelson (Happy Valley, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Reynolds Raiders (Troutdale, OR), 61-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Nelson upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season.

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood bout, on Thursday, January 12. Reynolds will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 64-60 league win over David Douglas (Portland, OR).
