In Tuesday's league outing, the North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) basketball squad beat the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), by a count of 61-52.
The Vikings (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Houston (Houston, MS). The Hilltoppers go into the 4A Region 2 outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Houston was topped by South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 63-37, in a league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Houston for a 4A Region 2 outing on Saturday, January 21.
