In Tuesday's league match, the host Windber Ramblers basketball team scored a good 65-49 triumph over the North Star Cougars.

In their next game, the Ramblers meet the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 16. Windber will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 13-1 record after their 53-18 league win over West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA).

With the defeat, North Star moves to 6-5 on the year. The Cougars host Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, January 12.
