The Ouachita Christian Eagles basketball team (Monroe, LA), was overwhelmed 72-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Quitman Wolverines (Quitman, LA)
The Wolverines now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Claiborne Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Quitman will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-8.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA). The Cougars come into the 1A District 2 battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Cedar Creek trounced Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA), 75-52, in a non-league battle.
