Pocola Indians (Pocola, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Stigler Panthers (Stigler, OK), 62-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pocola upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK) to play the Miners in a Black Diamond bout on Friday, January 13. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Panthers play the Heavener Wolves (Heavener, OK) in a Black Diamond bout, on Friday, January 13. Stigler will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 58-41 league win over Talihina (Talihina, OK).
