Michigan High School Basketball - St. Clair can't hold off Port Huron

The Port Huron Big Reds basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting St. Clair Saints to 53 in the Big Reds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Big Reds now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a Macomb Area - Bronze contest on Thursday, January 12. Port Huron will battle a Eagles team coming off a 70-45 league win over Marysville (Marysville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
The Saints (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Marine City was nudged by Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI), 79-57, in a league contest.
