The Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Queen Anne's County Lions (Centreville, MD), 69-60 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians (12-0) will now prepare for their test against Bennett (Salisbury, MD). The Clippers go into the Bayside - South test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Bennett notched a victory over Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD), 62-54, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kent Island for a Bayside - North test on Thursday, January 12. Queen Anne's County will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 56-53 league win over Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-2.
