In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ), by a margin of 67-40.
The Mountaineers (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Nutley smashed Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ), 69-59, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Science Park for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 12. Shabazz will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 52-44 non-league win over Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.
