Word of God Academy Force (Shreveport, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shreveport HomeSchool Sports (Shreveport, LA), 43-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Word of God Academy upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Force travel to Providence Classical Academy (Bossier City, LA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Providence Classical Academy won 62-44 in their recent non-league bout against Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA)

Next up, the clash with the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Shreveport HomeSchool Sports will attempt to upgrade on its 10-16 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 84-47 league loss to Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, LA).
