Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Southmoreland ripped by Uniontown

January 10, 2023: Uniontown, PA 15401

The Uniontown Red Raiders basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Southmoreland Scotties to 40 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabeth Forward for a WPIAL 4A 3 contest on Friday, January 13. Uniontown will meet a Warriors team coming off a 82-73 league win over Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-10.

The Scotties (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA). The Mustangs enter the WPIAL 4A 3 contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Laurel Highlands triumphed over Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA), 69-64, in a league contest.
