Star International Academy Falcons (Dearborn Heights, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Universal Academy Eagles (Detroit, MI), 53-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Star International Academy upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Canton Preparatory (Canton, MI) to play the Chargers in a Detroit Metro bout on Thursday, January 12. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Canton Preparatory lost 62-20 in their recent non-league bout against Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Universal Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The WOLVES come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 39-33 league loss to Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI).
