Illinois High School Basketball - Stevenson thwarts Waukegan

The Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), 73-64 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats go into the North Suburban test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Libertyville notched a victory over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL), 68-41, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Lake Zurich for a North Suburban test on Thursday, January 12. Waukegan will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 63-51 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Bears record now stands at 8-7.
