Vienna Eagles (Vienna, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL), 78-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Vienna upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Joppa-Maple Grove lost 62-26 in their recent league bout against Agape Christian (Energy, IL)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Johnston City Indians (Johnston City, IL) in a Black Diamond - West bout, on Friday, January 13. Trico will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 57-55 non-league win over Webber (Bluford, IL).
