Virginia High School Basketball - Veritas School can't hold off Veritas Collegiate Academy

The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Veritas School Lions to 65 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredericksburg Christian for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Veritas Collegiate Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 78-20 non-league win over Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.

The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stuart Hall (Staunton, VA). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Stuart Hall was nudged by Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA), 52-40, in a non-league contest.
