Washington Prexies (Washington, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waynesburg Central Raiders (Waynesburg, PA), 65-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Washington upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Prexies travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA) to clash with the Vikings in a WPIAL 3A 4 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-11.

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Mt. Carmel Christian (Mount Pleasant, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Waynesburg Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
