The Westwood Rebels basketball team (Sloan, IA), dropped 67-59 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA)
The Spartans now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawton-Bronson for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. West Monona will confront a Eagles team coming off a 67-52 non-league loss to Wakefield (Wakefield, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
The Rebels (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against River Valley (Correctionville, IA). The Wolverines come into the Western Valley - North battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, River Valley dropped by Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA), 80-45, in a league battle.
