In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA), by a margin of 68-42.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Westfield was trounced by Centreville (Clifton, VA), 63-51, in a non-league outing.
The Seahawks now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Chantilly for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13. South Lakes will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to James Madison (Vienna, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
