Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Chester Clippers (Chester, PA), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Academy Park upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Interboro (Prospect Park, PA) to play the Buccaneers in a Delaware Valley bout on Thursday, January 12. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 2-12. Interboro lost 41-31 in their recent league bout against Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA)

Next up, the Clippers play the William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Chester will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Colonials come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 58-19 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, DE).
