West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI), 62-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Salem upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Arcadia (Arcadia, WI) to play the Raiders in a Coulee bout on Thursday, January 12. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Arcadia lost 82-44 in their recent non-league bout against Sparta (Sparta, WI)

Next up, the Railroaders play the Amery Warriors (Amery, WI) in a Middle Border bout, on Friday, January 13. Altoona will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
