The Comets enter the game with a record of 5-7. Sacred Heart of Jesus won 56-28 in their recent league game against Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA)

With the defeat, Alverno Heights Academy moves to 2-6 on the year. The Jaguars travel to San Gabriel Mission (San Gabriel, CA) to face the Pioneers in a Soledad game on Thursday, January 12. The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 0-10. San Gabriel Mission lost 58-22 in their recent league game against Holy Family (Glendale, CA)
