The Dayton Pirates basketball team (Dayton, OR), was overwhelmed 79-26 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Amity Warriors (Amity, OR)
The Warriors now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a 3A PacWest battle on Friday, January 13. Amity will confront a Tigers team coming off a 51-48 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
The Pirates (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Mavericks come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Riverdale trounced Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR), 42-27, in a league battle.
