Kansas High School Basketball - Andover thwarts Salina Central

The Andover Trojans (Andover, KS) basketball were winner over the visiting Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS), 58-45 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Trojans now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Andover will battle a Cougars team coming off a 44-14 non-league win over Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.

The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Center (Valley Center, KS). The Hornets enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Valley Center was defeated by Maize South (Wichita, KS), 47-34, in a non-league contest.
