California High School Basketball - Arcata can't hold off McKinleyville

The McKinleyville Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Arcata Tigers to 52 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Bernard's for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. McKinleyville will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 60-42 league win over Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-2.
The Tigers (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, CA). The Loggers come into the Humboldt-Del Norte - Big 5 contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Eureka edged Fortuna (Fortuna, CA), 60-11, in a league contest.
