The Barron Golden Bears basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Ashland Oredockers to 45 in the Golden Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Bears now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baldwin-Woodville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Barron will meet a Blackhawks team coming off a 44-39 league win over St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 4-10.

The Oredockers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cameron (Cameron, WI). The Comets enter the Heart O'North contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Cameron ran past Spooner (Spooner, WI), 61-30, in a league contest.
