The Loretto Angels (El Paso, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), 42-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Angels (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Immanuel Christian (El Paso, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Immanuel Christian notched a victory over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX), 47-36, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy for a 4A Region I District 1 test on Friday, January 13. Austin will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 34-33 league win over Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 2-14.
