With the win, Avinger upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Indians host Saltillo (Saltillo, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 1A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 13. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 28-3. Saltillo won 79-37 in their recent league bout against Avery (Avery, TX)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Union Hill Bulldogs (Gilmer, TX) in a 1A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, January 13. Sulphur Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
