The Edisto Cougars basketball team (Cordova, SC), was nudged 33-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC)
The Warhorses now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeland/Hardeeville for a AA Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Barnwell will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 50-33 league loss to Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-9.
The Cougars (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wade Hampton (Hampton, SC). The Red Devils come into the AA Region 6 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Wade Hampton edged Ridgeland/Hardeeville (Ridgeland, SC), 53-42, in a league battle.
