The Bay Port Pirates basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Green Bay Preble Hornets to 54 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheboygan South for a Fox River Classic contest on Friday, January 13. Bay Port will battle a Redwings team coming off a 89-16 league loss to Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI). The Redwings record now stands at 1-12.
The Hornets (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Manitowoc Lincoln (Manitowoc, WI). The Ships enter the Fox River Classic contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Manitowoc Lincoln ran past Pulaski (Pulaski, WI), 50-47, in a league contest.
