The Belding Black Knights basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Sparta Spartans to 45 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Black Knights now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Comstock Park for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Friday, January 13. Belding will battle a Panthers team coming off a 77-31 non-league win over Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Kelloggsville was nudged by Comstock Park (Comstock Park, MI), 77-31, in a non-league contest.
