The Cardinal Newman Cardinals basketball team (Columbia, SC), was nudged 44-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC)
The Falcons now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond for a SCISA AAAA Region I battle on Friday, January 13.
The Cardinals (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA). The Lions come into the SCISA AAAA Region I battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Augusta Christian was nudged by Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC), 70-32, in a league battle.
