The Berwick Panthers basketball team (Berwick, LA), was overwhelmed 44-6 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA)
The Wildcats now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host E.D. White for a 3A District 8 battle on Friday, January 13. St. James will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-6.
The Panthers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Louisiana School for the Deaf (Baton Rouge, LA). The War Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Louisiana School for the Deaf was overwhelmed by Maurepas (Maurepas, LA), 34-7, in a non-league battle.
