With the victory, Blaine upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Anoka (Anoka, MN) to play the Tornadoes in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Anoka lost 67-40 in their recent non-league bout against Elk River (Elk River, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Andover Huskies (Andover, MN) in a AAAA Section 7 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Coon Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 81-38 non-league loss to Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN).
