The Blanco Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Florence Buffaloes to 20 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Comfort for a 3A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 13. Blanco will battle a Bobcats/Deer team coming off a 40-27 league loss to Llano (Llano, TX). The Bobcats/Deer record now stands at 1-10.

The Buffaloes (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX). The Warriors enter the 3A Region I District 5 contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Ingram Moore was routed by Brady (Brady, TX), 48-37, in a league contest.
