Bloomburg Wildcats (Bloomburg, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Yantis Owls (Yantis, TX), 70-10 in a league bout.

With the win, Bloomburg upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Avery (Avery, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Avery lost 79-37 in their recent league bout against Saltillo (Saltillo, TX)

Next up, the Owls play the Avery Bulldogs (Avery, TX) in a 1A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Yantis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record.
