In Tuesday's league outing, the George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), by a margin of 70-29.
The Cardinals (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians go into the District 40 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Montgomery County smashed Franklin County (Frankfort, KY), 65-56, in a non-league outing.
The Colonels now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fleming County for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13. Bourbon County will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 78-54 non-league loss to Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 5-10.
