The Lunenburg Central Chargers basketball team (Victoria, VA), was overwhelmed 51-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA)
The Knights now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Appomattox County for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 12. Buckingham will confront a Raiders team coming off a 38-33 non-league win over Heritage (Lynchburg, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-7.
The Chargers (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders come into the James River battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Amelia County was overwhelmed by Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA), 36-32, in a league battle.
