The North Zulch Bulldogs basketball team scored 2 points and held the visiting Calvert Trojans to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richards for a 1A Region IV District 29 contest on Friday, January 13. North Zulch will meet a Panthers team coming off a 37-24 league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
The Trojans (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dime Box (Dime Box, TX). The Longhorns enter the 1A Region IV District 29 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Dime Box nipped Buckholts (Buckholts, TX), 53-24, in a league challenge.
