North Carolina High School Basketball - Leesville Road knocked off by Cardinal Gibbons

The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Leesville Road Pride to 44 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broughton for a 4A Conference 28 contest on Friday, January 13. Cardinal Gibbons will meet a Capitals team coming off a 52-29 league win over Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 9-5.

The Pride (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars enter the 4A Conference 28 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Athens Drive ran past Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 75-10, in a league contest.
