The Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX) basketball knocked off the host Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX), 42-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their test against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Flyers go into the 2A Region III District 19 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, LaPoynor notched a victory over Frankston (Frankston, TX), 67-27, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Kerens for a 2A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 13. Cross Roads will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 78-15 league loss to Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-16.
