In Tuesday's league outing, the Central Warriors (Elkader, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA), by a margin of 49-9.
The Warriors (12-0) will now prepare for their outing against Kee (Lansing, IA). The Kee Hawks go into the Upper Iowa outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Kee was trounced by MFL MarMac (Monona, IA), 63-41, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Turkey Valley for a Upper Iowa outing on Friday, January 13. South Winneshiek will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 60-13 non-league win over Tripoli (Tripoli, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.
