Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA) and the visiting Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA), saw Chattahoochee County's basketball squad hold off Shaw by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Chattahoochee County improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Macon County (Montezuma, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a A D2 Region 6A challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA) in a AAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Shaw will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 55-51 league win over Westover (Albany, GA).
