In Tuesday's league outing, the Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK) basketball squad felled the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), by a margin of 56-42.
The Black Diamonds (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Roland (Roland, OK). The Rangers go into the NOAA outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Roland thwarted Spiro (Spiro, OK), 55-31, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Poteau for a NOAA outing on Friday, January 13. Checotah will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 44-33 non-league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 1-4.
