Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN) and the host Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN), saw Chuckey-Doak's basketball squad knock off Johnson County by a count of 75-59.

With the victory, Chuckey-Doak upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Black Knights host Unaka (Elizabethton, TN) to play the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 5-12.

Next up, the Longhorns play the South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN) in a 2A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Johnson County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 67-29 league win over Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN).
