In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Clark Fork Wampus Cats (Clark Fork, ID), by a count of 54-32.
The Miners (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Genesis Prep Academy (Post Falls, ID). The Jaguars go into the 1A Scenic Idaho outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Genesis Prep Academy was crushed by North Idaho Christian (Hayden, ID), 51-20, in a non-league outing.
The Wampus Cats now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kootenai for a 1A North Star outing on Thursday, January 19.
