Texas High School Basketball - Clear Lake can't hold off Clear Falls

The Clear Falls Knights basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Clear Lake Falcons to 50 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Creek for a 6A Region III District 24 contest on Friday, January 13. Clear Falls will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 47-20 league loss to Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-9.
The Falcons (9-16) will now prepare for their contest against Brazoswood (Clute, TX). The Buccaneers enter the 6A Region III District 24 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Brazoswood was nudged by Clear Falls (League City, TX), 50-36, in a league contest.
